South Shore Chamber of Commerce appoints Paul Black of Santander Bank to Board of Directors

 .The South Shore Chamber of Commerce, the region’s largest Chamber, today announced that Paul G. Black of Hingham, Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking at Santander Bank has been named to the Chamber’s Board of Directors.  Black is based at the company’s headquarters in Boston at 75 State Street.

 

In this capacity, Black will work with South Shore Chamber President and CEO Peter Forman, and Board of Directors Chairman Ray Belanger to help oversee general strategy and direction for the Chamber.

Black, whose experience as a corporate lender has earned him great recognition throughout his career, received a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Colby College and his MBA, Finance from Babson College.

In addition to his position on the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Black is a Board member and Treasurer of the Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation.

 

Peter Forman, President and CEO of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, said, “We’re excited to announce Paul as a member of our Board. His comprehensive experience within the financial industry and commitment to the growth and prosperity of the South Shore region contribute to his being a valued member on our Board of Directors.”
