Jay Nuss Realty Group brokers lease for Sally’s Sweet Shop in Weymouth

BRAINTREE and WEYMOUTH, MA, ISSUED MARCH 13, 2014…Jay Nuss Realty Group LLC recently brokered a long-term lease for Sally’s Sweet Shop in Weymouth.

Jay Nuss arranged for the long-term lease at 1072 Washington Street, Weymouth. The location, featuring 1095 square feet of space, is home to Sally’s Sweet Shop (www.sallyssweets.com), which features assorted chocolates, truffles, 16 different varieties of fudge, hard candies and gift baskets. Homemade candy and fudge is made on the premises. Additionally, the store offers a large selection of sugar-free and certified nut-free confections.

Jay Nuss, principal of Jay Nuss Realty Group, brokered the long-term lease between Edward Kelcourse of On Course Development, LLC, property owner, and Sally and Glen Pelrine, owners of the new store. Located at 1072 Washington Street (Route 53), the store is open Sundays from noon to 6 p.m., and Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the location, with Weymouth Mayor Sue Kay in attendance to welcome the new business to town.

Nuss said, “We are very pleased to see new businesses coming to Weymouth, and we all wish the Pelrines much success in this new venture.”
