Wamp’s Pizzeria & Café Donates to Baby Care Package Fund

Project Sweet Peas is a non-profit organization run by volunteers across the country, who through personal experience have become passionate about providing comfort to families with children in the intensive care units.

Braintree's Wamp's Pizzeria & Cafe last Saturday donated $500 to Project Sweet Peas – Multiple Miracles, a non-profit that creates care packages for families with babies in the NICU.

"We 'pay it forward' because our twins spent six weeks in the NICU and we want to provide comfort to others going through a similar experience," Diane Hrenko, Division Leader of Project Sweet Peas, said in an email.

Wamp's is owned by Jason and Keri Murphy and is located in the Granite Plaza across from Braintree High School.

"Project Sweet Peas is a non-profit organization run by volunteers across the country, who through personal experience have become passionate about providing comfort to families with children in the intensive care units and to those who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss. Our programs support the wellness of families by providing care packages and other services that offer comfort while furthering the bond between parent and child, and treasured keepsakes to families who have experienced a loss. Through our services, we give from our heart, to inspire families with the hope of tomorrow."

"Multiple Miracles is a division of Project Sweet Peas. We deliver care packages to families in local NICU's in the Boston area."
