Local Babies Gear up for 4th Annual Diaper Derby at South Shore Plaza

Crawlers start your ‘engines’!  South Shore Plaza prepares to host its 4th Annual Diaper Derby!

The event is sponsored by WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Nutrition Program and Bay State Parent Magazine.

The Diaper Derby at South Shore Plaza is limited to the first 72 registered babies. Registration will be held between Monday, January 21 – Saturday, February 16th (cut off time on day of event is 8:45a.m.) ***Pre- Registration is encouraged***.

To register Parents or Guardians must visit Guest Services on Level 1 next to Victoria’s Secret.

Participants in this year’s Derby must be CRAWLERS under the age of 12 months and must NOT be walking yet to race against each other in a fun competition that will also include other activities before, during and after the races including:

• Prize Giveaways from South Shore Plaza retailers

There will be 72 crawlers and 6 racers per heat (total of 12 heats). The winner from each of the heats will then compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize.  This is followed by an award ceremony. All three winners will receive a trophy.

All racers will receive a goody bag.

Registration and Participation are FREE!!!

10:00a.m. – 1:00p.m.

 All participating babies must check-in at 9:00a.m. at the registration table on Level 1 in Macy’s Center Court.
