Discount Youth Retail Store Opening Friday in Braintree

Five Below, a retailer that offers products for teens and pre-teens priced between $1 and $5, is opening a Braintree location Friday.

The store will open Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. in a portion of the building that contains Guitar Center on Grossman Drive. 

To celebrate the grand opening, Five Below will give away T-shirts, 5-cent hot dogs, and other prizes throughout the weekend, including one $100 Five Below shopping spree.

"Five Below offers trend-right, high-quality merchandise to teens and pre-teens with everything in the store priced $1 to $5," the company said in a press release. 

Product offerings span a number of categories including fashion accessories; iPhone, Galaxy, and tablet accessories; video games; toys and games; arts and crafts; and fitness equipment."

Five Below, founded in 2002, is a publicly-traded company with more than 200 locations in the Eastern United States.
