Braintree Attorney Named One of 2013's Top Women of Law
Grace Garcia is a partner with the Boston office of Morrison Mahoney LLP.
Grace V.B. Garcia, a Braintree resident and attorney with Morrison Mahoney LLP in Boston, has been named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s 2013 Top Women of the Law.
Garcia was among those women honored by the magazine at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel last month. She is a partner in the Boston office of her firm and focuses on construction law, product liability, premises liability, commercial litigation, and American with Disability Act cases.
Garcia is active in several association, including the ALFA International Women's Initiative Steering Committee, ALFA International Construction Law Steering Committee and Defense Research Institute's Construction Law Steering Committee, according to her Morrison Mahoney biography.
She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association and Chairs the Construction Practice Subcommittee of the MassDLA.
From 2005 through 2012, Garcia was recognized by Boston Magazine and Law & Politics as a "Super Lawyer Rising Star," a distinction given to less than 2.5 percent of lawyers in Massachusetts.
She is a graduate of the University of Rochester (B.A., cum laude) and Boston University School of Law (J.D., cum laude).
