Braintree Associate Wins Employee of Year Award

Each year Express Employment Professionals, one of the nation’s largest staffing firms, hand-picks the top associates in their system and honors them with the esteemed Employee of the Year award.

This year, Braintree Express associate Frank Smith of Hanson, MA was named both Massachusetts and Northeast Zone Employee of the Year for his significant career growth since becoming an Express associate. Smith, and seven others were chosen from a field of over 50,000 candidates in the Northeast.

Since working for Express, Smith has completed more than six temporary positions and is now working full-time on a long term basis at J.N. Kidds Distributors in Weymouth. According to Andrew Shannon, President of JN Kidds, Smith is hard-working, reliable, and consistently goes out of his way to learn new skills, making him a versatile, well-rounded associate.

Winners of the Employee of the Year award are chosen based on their unique story as a job seeker and their level of growth in their set career. Nominees are also selected because they exude a “Character of Excellence,” which means they are reliable, honest, hard working, have an exemplary attitude, and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure their and others' success.

For the 2012 awards, three industry winners were chosen on the national level, five as regional winners and one per state or province on the local level. Smith was awarded $750 for being a regional zone winner and $500 for being a state winner.
