Town Hall Lights up Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Pink candles have been placed in the windows of Braintree Town Hall for the month of October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.

“The pink candles in the windows of Town Hall show our solidarity with those who are battling breast cancer and all forms of cancer and with their families” Mayor Joseph Sullivan said in a statement.

“Researchers continue to make wonderful strides in the treatment and management of this horrible disease and the candles serve to remind us that we still must strive until we find a cure.”
