Update: MassDOT reports that the scene on 93 South is clear and all lanes are now open.
Commuters driving through Braintree on Route 93 should expect major delays during rush hour after an accident caused the closure of three lanes.
An excavator fell off a trailer and was on its side around 3 p.m.
