There are new bike racks at the front of the Main Entrance to Braintree High School. The rack was relocated from the basketball courts in the rear of the school to the underneath the overhang to the left of the main entrance. The rack was not being utilized in the rear so it was moved for the use of students and staff. The overhang of the school's upper floors for the allows protection of the bikes from the elements. The Town of Braintree has also upgraded and installed more video monitoring cameras throughout the campus including the exterior doors and gathering areas. The bike racks are great for the school's students and staff because they encourage exercise as well as a reduction in carbon emissions by not utilizing cars.
