The Braintree High Girls Soccer team earned a well-deserved 2-1 victory over rival Weymouth in Bay State Carey action today at Weymouth High School. Weymouth led 1-0 at the half after a dive in the box led to a penalty kick. Trailing 1-0 at halftime, the Wamps played with renewed energy and focus in the second half. Colleen Hurley put through the equalizing goal late in the and Allie O'Rourke hit the game winner with just a few minutes to go.
The girls' record now stands at 4-2-3. The Lady Wamps return to action on October 3 @ Wellesley High School.
