The Braintree High School Girls Varsity Soccer team dropped their first game of the season to defending Bay State Herget Division Champions Dedham High School. Dedham has picked up right where they left off in 2012, outscoring opponents 12-1 this year prior to today's tilt. Despite their steady play and limiting the high scoring Marauders to just 2 goals (both of which were scored on corner kicks), the Wamps were unable to muster sufficient offensive pressure and quality scoring opportunities to close the gap. Next up for the girls is a tough away match v. Newton North, currently ranked #6 in the state by The Boston Globe, on Tuesday September 17 at 3:45pm.
