The MIAA released the football pairings on for the remainder of the season. Braintree High play Durfee, Quincy, and Taunton prior to the annual Thanksgiving game at Milton High School.

The Wamps, a non-playoff qualifier, are the eighth seed with a rating of 9.43. The rating is calculated based on wins and the quality of opponents. BHS is 3-4 with wins over Quincy (17-16), Brookline (41-32), and Framingham (43-42).
The Wamps beat Durfee 28-7 on October 1 before being shut out by Quincy, 20-0 on the 8th to fall to 4-5 on the season.
With wins this Friday against Taunton (6pm at BHS) and on Thanksgiving (10am at Milton), BHS has a chance to finish with their first winning season since 2004 when they finished 7-4.
