Video Game Tournament a “Smashing” Success

BHS News

The class of 2015 held a fundraiser Tuesday in the BHS Media Center. Students spent $5 for a ticket to participate in a Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament. The game itself proved to be fantastic to many fans, as over 32 students arrived to play and watch.

With the number of contestants who arrived, battles remained brutal as most played best with some of the simplest characters there were to be. For each battle, the winner was determined by who could remain in the stage the longest without losing all of their lives. Each winner advanced on to the next round and battled the next contestant who won in their previous match. The top winners received gift cards that ranged from $15 – $25.
