BlumShapiro, New England’s largest regional accounting, tax and business consulting firm, is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the 10th annual South Shore Hospital Friends of Growing Families Stroll for the Goal Fun Day. This yearly event helps support South Shore Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and pediatric care.
Fun Day festivities include: swimming, pony rides, carnival games, face painting, and cookie decorating, just to name a few. General admission is $5 per person. Admission is free for children 2 years of age and younger.
Fun Day attendees are also urged to Stroll for the Goal. Participants who raise funds of $50 or more for the goal will receive a t-shirt and gift bag, and those who raise funds of $100 or more for the goal receive an annual membership to The Friends of the South Shore Hospital (a $25 value), plus chances to win great prizes.
Walk-in registrants are welcome on Stroll for the Goal Fun Day and donations are also being accepted in advance of the event. The Friends of Growing Families is a group interested in the health and well-being of all children in our region. Members are parents, family and friends of infants and children who have received care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, or other pediatric services at South Shore Hospital. The group works to raise funds to provide specialty equipment, educational programs and a variety of support services for neonatal and pediatric patients and their families.
