Twisted Alice in Wonderland Comes to Braintree Haunted House

The Haunted House, which had a young kids night last night, is coming Friday and Saturday on Plain Street in Braintree as well – with full scares!

When the crew of about a half-dozen arrived a month ago at an unused warehouse on Plain Street in Braintree, it was vast and empty – a scene that was difficult to picture on Thursday just before the Braintree Haunted House kicked off with a "Not so Scary" night for younger kids.

Now the space is filled with a black maze of Alice in Wonderland frights, from a gruesome tea party to the queen's shrouded throne. On Thursday evening, the lights stayed on and the makeup stayed off, but on Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., there will be full-fledged scares, courtesy of many people and organizations in the community.

F. X. Messina and have both donated space and electricity for the event, and there have also been contributions from Gorham Fire Appliance (Quincy), Comtronics Corp. (Quincy), Brede Exposition Services (Hingham) and many other local community businesses.
