The Captain Petersen splash pad at Watson Park is open for splashing and cooling off, kids. It's open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Labor Day. Park at the Smith Beach lot on Edge Hill Road and walk up the path to the plash pad. Bring a towel.
