Take a Riverboat Ride, and Many Other Activities, With the Braintree Senior Center

The Department of Elder Affairs has a jam-packed calendar of activities and services for the seniors of Braintree, including blood pressure clinics, support groups, meetings with representatives and senators, music and other performances.

One highlight of the month is a trip that includes a river boat cruise, as well as lunch at Maggiano's in Boston and a Castle Island Visit. The cruise, happening on June 24, costs $58 a ticket. It's a fully-narrated sightseeing cruise along the Charles River. 

Braintree residents have priority on these trips, but the center will take other names on a waiting list.
