Monday Essentials: Mayor Sullivan Hosts Family Movie Night This Week

Mayor Joseph Sullivan and the Braintree Recreation and Community Events Department are hosting a free “Family Movie Night” featuring Disney's Brave Wednesday, July 24. 

The movie night will be held at French’s Common, adjacent to Town Hall. The movie will begin at about 8:15 p.m. Residents are asked to bring a folding lawn chair or a blanket and mosquito repellent. 

There will be a “buck-a-buy" concession stand selling hot dogs, soft drinks and snacks before and during the movie. There will also be pre-movie entertainment provided by Crystal Entertainment Services featuring a DJ, moonwalk and assorted games with prizes beginning at 6 p.m. 

In case of poor weather, the movie will be shown in the Horace Cahill Auditorium at Town Hall at 8:15 p.m. with doors opening at 7:30 p.m.
