Meals on Wheels Stroll at South Shore Plaza Nov. 4

The South Shore Plaza and South Shore Elder Services, Inc. will hold its annual "Stroll the mall for Meals on Wheels" this Sunday, Nov. 4.

South Shore Elder Services, Inc. will hold its annual “Stroll the Mall for Meals on Wheels” on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at South Shore Plaza.  Rolling registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

Join more than 300 walkers of all ages raise money for South Shore Elder Services’ Meals on Wheels Program at our “Stroll the Mall for Meals on Wheels” event. 

South Shore Elder Services is a private, non-profit agency that provides seniors and caregivers, on the South Shore, with valuable resources and services.

Bring your family, friends and neighbors to walk at this fun event for kids and adults, while raising money for a good cause.  All monies raised supports the Meals on Wheels Program, which provides hot noontime meals to more than 1,300 homebound elders every day across the South Shore.

Special activities for the children will include:  Making Thanksgiving cards for elders and clowns making balloon animals.

T-shirts will be provided to the first 200 walkers.

Participating students will receive 4 community service hours.
