Dependable Cleaners Offers 20% off Red Clothing in February for Women Campaign

Save Money and Make a Difference in February by Going Red.

Red sweaters, red dresses, red jackets and even red pants.

To help raise awareness for heart disease among women, Dependable Cleaners is offering 20% off dry cleaning of all red items for the month of February. Customers who take advantage of this special will have the opportunity to vote in Dependable Cleaners’ customer survey for The American Heart Association as their quarterly charitable donation.

The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign is celebrating its 10th year.  The campaign aims to generate awareness about the growing rate of heart disease amongst women and the simple steps that can be taken to minimize the risk of cardiovascular issues. Each year the American Heart Association supports women by offering educational programs, increase women's understanding about their risk for heart disease and support research to discover scientific knowledge about heart health.

A strong supporter of the local community and charitable foundations, Dependable Cleaners hopes to raise awareness during Heart Awareness Month while offering customers a discount on red items. Items of red clothing can be dropped off at all Dependable Cleaners locations or through the home delivery service from February 1st until the 28th. “For the past 10 years the American Heart Association has provided hope and support to women as a heart disease remains the number one cause of death for women,” said Christa Hagearty, president of Dependable Cleaners.    “At Dependable Cleaners, our red initiative is designed to help raise awareness of the issue and support the American Heart Association in their efforts. “
