5 Things: Storytime at Thayer Library, Deadline for Summer School

1. Thayer Public Library hosts Storytime for Ages 3 to 5 in the Logan Auditorium from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
2. There is walk-in registration for Braintree High School Summer School from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in House 2 on the third floor. Today is the last day for walk-in registration and the deadline for mail-in registration.
3. Born on this day in history: writer Franz Kafka (1883), well-known women's rights lawyer Gloria Allred (1941), humorist Dave Barry (1947) and actor Tom Cruise (1962).
4. First Baptist Church has Wednesday night services at 5:30 p.m.
