Rec. Department's Learn to Skate Signups Thursday, Nov. 21

As posted on the Braintree Recreation's website:

The Braintree Recreation Department's "Learn to Skate Program" will get underway on Fridays from Jan. 3 through Feb. 21, 2014 from 5 to 6 p.m. for kids ages 5 through 12 at the William Connell Rink on Broad Street in Weymouth. Each child will need a helmet, hand coverings (mittens or gloves) and single blade ice skates and be ready to take the ice at the start of class. Kathy Bretagne and her staff will again provide the instructional lessons. Skill evaluations will be conducted at the first class. Beginner level and advance beginner level instruction will be offered on the ice at different ends of the rink. Registration is on a "first come" basis as the Braintree Recreation Office located at 85 Quincy Avenue on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 6 to 7PM. Cost per child is $60. Because of the number limits for this program you will only be allowed to register your own family/no friends or neighbors! THE CHILD'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND PROOF OF RESIDENCY IS REQUIRED! NO PHONE REGISTRATIONS.
