Boston Police Superintendent Paul Fitzgerald and The City of Boston Credit Union presented Joslin Diabetes Center with a check from the Fifth Annual ‘Field of Dreams’ Wiffle Ball Tournament and Fundraiser. The event, which was held this year on May 10th at the Boston Athletic Club in South Boston, drew more than 500 people and raised $80,000 for Joslin Diabetes Center. Fitzgerald organized 'The Field of Dreams' Wiffle Ball Tournament and Fundraiser five years ago after his nine year old daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.  Since then, the event has raised a total of $280,000 toward finding a cure for diabetes, with this year’s amount raised being the highest. Braintree resident, Steve Green, pictured to the right of Rick Price of Joslin Diabetes Center in Image 2, is Chairman of the Board of the City of Boston Credit Union.
