Braintree Women's Club Scholarships
We are proud to announce our 2013 Scholarship recipients:
David Fasano Jr will attend Stonehill College majoring in Business Management and a minor in Criminal Justice. He maintained Honors each term at Braintree High school. He was a four year member of the Varsity hockey and golf teams captaining both teams his Senior year as well as a two year Varsity Baseball member. David received the 2013 Boston Bruins MIAA Sportsmanship Award representing the Bay State Conference. He was also awarded the 2012-2013 Wendy’s High School Heisman as the male recipient for BHS based on excellence in athletics, academics and leadership. He volunteers as a youth hockey and baseball coach.
Brianna Columbus will be attending Merrimack College in the fall majoring in Elementary Education with Moderate Disabilities and a minor in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). At Braintree High School, Brianna was an honor roll student and elected as the Vice President of the student body and chosen to represent BHS at Massachusetts Girls State Leadership Camp. She was captain of the Varsity Lacrosse team and was captain of her Relay For Life team. She loved working with special needs students at Super Saturdays.
