Special Education Rights Workshop, Story Time at the Library

5 Things: A run-down of events and other useful information for your life in Braintree on Oct. 30, 2013.

1. The Special Education Parent Advisory Council is co-hosting a rights workshop with the Holbrook PAC from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Logan Auditorium at Thayer Public Library.

2. Activities today at the Senior Center on Cleveland Avenue include: 

9:15 Exercise Class 

10:00 Crafts and Quilting Group #1 

10:30 TRIAD MEETING  (see newsletter article) 

12:00 Pool Players, Poker and Movie Day Movie: The Great Gatsby

3. Thayer Library also hosts Story-time for ages 3-5 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Logan Auditorium.

4. Bring your umbrella, but be prepared to stow it. There is a slight chance of showers after 11 a.m. but mostly cloudy with a high near 51 degrees Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. Mostly clear tonight, low around 38.
