Monday Essentials: School Committee Talks Opening Day, Class Size, Mosquitos

School Committee Meeting

The committee meets at 7 p.m. at East Middle School.

The agenda includes discussion on opening day, class size, the assistant superintendent search, mosquito safety measures and summer renovations. Committee members may vote on objectives for 2013-2014.

Braintree Historical Commission Meeting

The commission meets at 7 p.m. in the Johnson Chambers at Town Hall.

The agenda includes an update on the Elm Street Cemetery renovations, a CPA application for a Civil War monument.

Sen. Joyce Office Hours

"Senator Brian A. Joyce is pleased to announce that he will hold office hours in Braintree on Monday, September 9th, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30a.m at the Senior Center. 

“I encourage all interested constituents to attend my district office hours,” said Senator Joyce. “This is an opportunity for me to listen to the concerns of the people of Braintree, and hopefully provide some guidance and solutions.”
