License Board Considers Restaurant Requests, Library Movie Night

1. The Board of License Commissioners meets at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the upstairs Johnson Chambers at Town Hall. It will consider food and alcohol license requests from Trio (in the Landing) and Buffalo Wild Wings (at the Plaza).

2. Thayer Public Library hosts Movie Night from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in the Logan Auditorium.

"Join us for a showing of a newly released movie each month. This month we'll be showing the film by director Lee Daniels starring Forest Whitaker. It is rated PG-13."

3. The Housing Authority, Planning Board, Municipal Light Board and School Building Committee all meet Tuesday. See schedules and agendas here.

4. It should be a wet one today. Expect heavy rain Tuesday, with a high around 52 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Winds could gust as high as 28 miles per hour. Tuesday night should be rainy before 10 p.m., with a low just above freezing.
