First Day of School in Braintree, Movie Night at Thayer Library

1. Today is the first day of school for Braintree Public Schools students in grades 1-9.

2. Thayer Public Library hosts Movie Night from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
"This month's movie takes us to Long Island where, in the lavish world of the nouveau riche, obsession, madness, and tragedy await. The first 100 people will be admitted. Titles are announced in the library.
"Movie ratings will vary. This program is primarily intended for adult audiences."
