Council to Talk Babe Ruth Field, Signal Light Request, Waste Complaints
5 Things: A run-down of events and other useful information for your life in Braintree on Aug. 13, 2013.
1. The Town Council meets at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Town Hall.
The agenda includes: requests for a field donation for Babe Ruth and signal lights on Grove Street, a report on resident complaints on waste service and a public hearing on a bond request for money for waste barrels.
2. Prior to that meeting, the Committee on Ways & Means meets at 6 p.m. in the auditorium to go over the bond request.
3. The Board of License Commissioners meets at 2 p.m. on the lower level of Town Hall. The agenda includes a public hearing for Bertucci's on a stock transfer request, and Trio Restaurant at 19A Commercial St. looking for a food license and all-alcohol license.
4. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the day and night tonight, according to the National Weather Service.
