1. The Braintree High School Council meets at 3:30 p.m. in MC-17 to discuss MCAS results, Homecoming and Spirit Week, a school improvement plan and general school updates.
2. Thayer Public Library hosts the Reader's Group Book Club from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. this evening in the Logan Auditorium. This month's selection is Defending Jacob by William Landay.
3. Also stop by the library today for Story-time for ages 3-5 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Logan Auditorium.
4. Bring your jacket today. There is a significant chance of precipitation between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., with a high around 52 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Chance of rain tonight also, low around 37.
