BHS Battle of the Bands, Movie Night at Thayer Library
5 Things: A run-down of events and other useful information for your life in Braintree on Dec. 11, 2013.
1. The Braintree High School Battle of the Bands is Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
2. Thayer Public Library hosts Movie Night starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Logan Auditorium.
"This month's movie stars Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy, and is rated R. The first 100 people will be admitted. Titles are announced in the library. Movie ratings will vary. This program is primarily intended for adult audiences."
3. The Board of License Commissioners meets at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the upstairs Johnson Chambers at Town Hall. Click here for the complete agenda (PDF).
4. The skies part and there is sun! But also cold temps and high wind, unfortunately. The National Weather Service is predicting a sunny day with a high near 30 degrees and winds gusting as much as 24 miles per hour. Partly cloudy with a low around 18 Wednesday night.
