DESCRIPTION:Melinda Barclay has been an administrative team member at MVP
 ediatrics Health and Wellness Center for over two years. She first learn
 ed American Sign Language (ASL) as a small child when a neighborhood fri
 end was learning sign to communicate because he was profoundly deaf. As 
 Melinda grew older\, she began to become involved in the Deaf Community\
 , where she learned a wealth of knowledge.\nMelinda went on to take four
  years of sign language\, finishing in the top of her class with ASL tea
 cher\, Christine Evans\, in the Whitman-Hanson School District. Ms. Evan
 s made it her point to integrate students with the Deaf Community. Melin
 da went on to advance her signing skills at Northeastern University. Tod
 ay\, she continues to be involved in with Deaf Community through local c
 hurches\, events\, schools\, charities and networking.
