Woman's Purse Stolen By Three Men in Braintree Restaurant Parking Lot
The following information was supplied by the Braintree Police Department and Mass Most Wanted. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Braintree police are investigating a theft last month that involved three men distracting a woman in a restaurant parking lot in order to steal her purse.
Police posted the Friday Oct. 5 case recently to Massmostwanted.com, and included the following details:
First suspect: "a white male approximately 30-35 years old, bald, with a pot belly wearing an Affliction long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and dark sneakers."
Second suspect: "a black male approximately 20-25 years old, wearing a blue red sox hat with a red lid, blue and gray hooded sweatshirt with the number 3 on the right sleeve, black sweat pants with a white stripe down the leg and white sneakers."
Third suspect (not shown in attached photos): "a tall black male approximately 30-35 years old wearing a do-rag."
The suspects left the scene in a four door sedan, possibly an Oldsmobile Aurora, according to police.
Contact investigating detective Thomas Molloy at 781-794-8600 ext. 8679 with any information about the crime.

The name of the restaurant is only useful if you are a curious person.
If you saw something related to the incident you would know.
Not good publicity for the restaurant.

The name of the restaurant is relevant if it happens to be the same restaurant that half (or most) of Braintree didn't want in town because it would attract a bad element. Without the name of the restaurant in the story, I will just make my assumptions - right or wrong - and I'll stay away anyway.

Steve, while I am a curious person I believe that the name of the restaurant is relevant. And just to prove how curious I am and care about the town I live in, I went onto the Mass Most Wanted's website and ran a search of all crimes in Braintree. There were 18 - AND GUESS WHAT? All of them except the photos from this article had exact locations in the town - Macy's, Shaw's, Cooperative Bank just to name a few. Now I am really curious why this crime is described as "Restaurant". I am going to guess that Mack is on to something and this happened outside in the parking lot of Dave and Buster's ... although I wouldn't call it a restaurant.
