Did you think President Barack Obama or former Gov. Mitt Romney won the first debate?
The much anticipated first presidential debate is over and the pundits have spoken.
But we want to know -- who do you think won the debate?
Did you like former Gov. Mitt Romney's approach or back what President Barack Obama had to say.
Some pundits after the debate praised Romney while criticizing the president for being disinterested and not being prepared. However, others said Obama made great points during the health care debate.

On style, Romney, on substance it was the President. Unfortunately in a televised debate, style wins. Now, Romney will need to explain who he really is to his right leaning base, because last night he was the Governor of Massachusetts once again equipped with some very loose facts.

Agreed. The most tangible thing Romney had to say was that he liked Big Bird and that he even condescended to like Jim Lehrer, at least when he wasn't interrupting him. The president failed to attack, he was too over-cautious. He won't be next time.

The winner was very, VERY clear -- on all fronts. Romney won, though there are many people who will never, EVER admit that -- no matter what. Kind of sad.

People that think Romney "won" the debate are deluded. One glaring fact that hasn't been addressed by the crazy media people (who are desperate for ratings) is that Mitt responded " I don't know what you're talking about" when The President stated corporations can receive tax breaks for shipping jobs overseas. That is a true statement. Romney better be on his toes the next debate because Obama was just sizing up his prey.

Romney ate Obamas lunch largely because it was quite obvious his policies haven't worked thus far and he does not have a grasp of the economy and government plans that Romney has. Bottom line I think the typical business person h a far greater understanding of the economy and what makes it tick - so I think what comes naturally to mitt doesn't to Obama.

Romney is glib and good with numbers. When he makes his sales pitch to stockholders he is persuasive and can close the deal. The President was measured and articulate in proposing specific plans that will move us forward. We tried the trickle down theory before and it doesn't work. We continue to dig out of a hole that Republicans put us in. Romney on style, the President on substance.

I see this crap every day on TV,(Moving forward, trickle down. digging out from Bush's mess), And i say to myself, Who would buy this crap? I guess that would be you Bill. Mr. Cross - curious - would you prefer that the President of the United States fly in a commercial jet, perhaps using a cell phone for all his communication. He could fly first class and have the man with the nuclear codes fly tourists. And what the heck, we don't need secret service even though there has been a 400% increase in the number of death threats. Even better, perhaps he should hitch hike.

There is no question who won this debate. Romney had everything, the facts and how to deliver them. Obama looked like he would rather be golfing or out to dinner with Michelle. It seems without a teleprompter he is a lost soul.

How did such a stupid man as the Pres. ever get through Columbia and Harvard. Hay, I know. Played the minority card just like Liz is. Man faked his birth in the US, scammed the system to get into Columbia and Harvard, Blew away all students at Harvard to get elected head of the Harvard Law Review, and all this and he never made any monies until someone else wrote his books for them. Besides all that, we know he is a Marxist Socialists Communists Moslem. And to sum it up, a anti-Christ. Does that cover everything? Perhaps Romney will come and save the nation from the effects of that man.

Romney wii save nothing, he will however ruin what he didn't have a chance to do while Governor of Massachusetts. Bad debate, yes,but only someone as foolish as the post calling him all sorts of names(Obama) would show such stupidity. You don't have to like him,but hang you own stupidity out there. Maybe No comment would have been better. God bless you,hopefully you will learn when less is more.
