The general pattern in Patrick’s speech is that he overreached in trying to indict Romney’s record but generally told the truth when bragging about his own. ENOUGH SAID

I thought he was kind to mitt, He didn't mention the 1000 fee's mitt raised or instituted,
He even charged the blind 10 bucks to prove their blind he didn't mention mitt using the state police as secret service men, while he traveled the country, running for president at a big cost to the mass tax payer, he didn't mention health care that mitt wants to get rid of, because of the big donations from atna and blue cross, for those of you with a short memory, his record is on the internet just look it up, question is you know he robbed us as governor, do you really want him robbing us as president, maybe the word rob is too strong, lets say he used our taxpayer money inappropiately, not to mention he was responsible for 14500 less police, firefighter,s and teachers, how exactly doe's that relate to creating job's, would you like to talk about the crime rate, it skyrocketed. I thought deval's speach was a lot nicer than it could have been, go back and look at how much money, he cost the avarage bizman in fees. he's pro biz, not unless you own an oil company or big ins company .you have to admitt he's a great salesman. me I vote my wallet and he took money out of it .I don't forget.

Mercifully I missed it; I watched SVU reruns. I heard that Dukakis was also supposed to speak at the DNC; what a joke. Two incompetent midgets, two empty suits. They make a good pair.

Did Deval "Cadillac" Patrick talk about how much he earned helping Countrywide Mortgage rob people blind & the subprime mortgage fiasco? Did he explain how he had time, as Governor, to write & tour to promote a book? Did he discuss his $12,000 damask drapes as part of a $27,000 renovation of his office at taxpayer expense, hiring a chief of staff for his wife & attempts to help a controversial mortgage company that had been accused of predatory lending? Somehow, I think he skipped over just some of his "accomplishments".

I thought he gave a fantastic speech. I had forgotten what a great speaker he can be. We cannot expect any politician to do everything we wish them to do. We elect humans, not gods.
I do not believe any reference to any particular person's perception of their God has any place in our political discourse. The early settlers in this country came to escape a state sponsored religion and we should not be encouraging any of it. Love of country includes love of our freedoms, including freedom from any particular religion. Remember individual rights and freedoms.
It is discouraging to read and know how many people are being taken in by right wing , bombastic, opinions.
