Wayne Foster Promoted to Braintree Deputy Police Chief
The swearing-in happened on Monday at Braintree Town Hall.
Wayne Foster has been promoted from lieutenant in charge of the relief shift to Deputy Chief, replacing Russell Jenkins, who was selected last fall to be Braintree's police chief.
Foster, a 30-year veteran of the Braintree Police Department, was sworn-in to his new position during a ceremony Monday at Town Hall. Chief Jenkins said he recommended Foster for the post.
"He'll do well," Jenkins said. "He'll be a great asset to the department in that capacity."
