UK-Based E-Commerce Business Opening in Braintree

Elcom International, Inc., the first cloud-based developer of cutting-edge e-procurement software, is making Braintree its new home.
Elcom will be joined by elected officials of Braintree including Mayor Sullivan, Town Council President Kokoros, Senator Joyce, and Representative Cusack, Councilor Powers and business leaders to officially open the new U.S. headquarters at 50 Braintree Hill Office Park in Braintree.
Elcom is bringing jobs to Braintree and will be hiring new software engineers to assist in serving its growing clientele.
Elcom, founded in the United Kingdom in 1992, manages a range of on-demand eProcurement systems for both private and public sector clients around the world. Elcom’s software has been powering the award-winning flagship eProcurement application in the Country of Scotland.
In the 10 years that the Scottish Government has worked with ELCOM, the country has seen $1.4 billion savings at all levels of its operations, including its National Health Service and public school systems.
The company is hosting an opening event at 50 Braintree Hill Office Park at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6.
