The following information was supplied by the Braintree Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
A 26-year-old Dorchester man was arrested again last week by Braintree police for allegedly dealing heroin at a Shaw Street home.
Luis M. Perez was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 29 after drug unit detectives observed him make what they believed to be a drug deal at the home, Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.
Perez drove away from the home after a brief meeting and was followed by police, who stopped him on Cedar Cliff Road. He was arrested based on statements made by a resident of the home, who said that Perez had sold a single bag of heroin, Jenkins said.
He was charged with distribution of heroin. The resident was not named or charged.
On Sept. 26, Perez was arrested by Braintree police at an undisclosed location for allegedly trying to swallow bags of heroin after making a sale.
