Brighton resident faces charge of illegal Mace possession
Vi Ly, 28, of 29 Jette Court, Unit 764, Brighton was arraigned in Quincy District Court on charges of possession of chemical Mace without a Firearms Identification card, speeding, and a marked lanes violation. He was released on personal recognizance pending a hearing on Jan. 31.
The charges stem from a Dec. 15, 2011 incident at 10:30 p.m. on Interstate 93 in Braintree during which state police allegedly observed a white van traveling at speeds estimated at 78 to 82 mph, and stopped the vehicle.
