No School in Braintree Friday Due to Blizzard
The school department cancelled earlier than usual, at about 5 p.m. the night before the storm.
With the most significant snowstorm in years bearing down on the region, there will be no school Friday for Braintree Public Schools students.
An automated phone call went out to families around 5 p.m. and WCVB reported the closing shortly thereafter. Archbishop Williams High School and Thayer Academy have also announced they will be closed Friday.
