Late Fire Chief McHugh Honored With Funeral Mass in Braintree
Kenneth McHugh, a longtime Braintree firefighter and chief from 2007 to 2009, died of cancer at age 60 on June 2.
A funeral mass was held on Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi for longtime member of the Braintree Fire Department and former chief Kenneth McHugh.
The ceremony was followed by a funeral at Blue Hills Cemetery. McHugh died on Saturday, June 2 of cancer. He served the town as a firefighter for four decades and was chief from 2007 to 2009.
McHugh is survived by Marian, his wife of 38 years, two children and a grandchild.
