iParty Moves into Former Borders Space in Braintree

The party store opened in the Borders building near the rotary on Sept. 15 and will stay open there through Halloween.

Just in time for Halloween shopping, national retailer iParty opened late last week at the former Borders bookstore location on Grossman Drive in Braintree.

Following its Sept. 15 opening, the party supply store will remain in business through Halloween on Oct. 31. In a press release, the company said that this season will likely be full of costumes of movie stars, reality TV celebrities and other scandal-makers.

"We thought that opening a store in the Braintree area would provide more shopping options to the community's mix of families, students and professionals," CEO Sal Perisano said in the release.

The store will have for sale wigs, shoes, jewelry, indoor and outdoor decorations, candy and other supplies.
