1. The Board of License Commissioners meets today at 2:30 p.m. on the lower level of . On the agenda: a special farm wine licence request, a request for a wine and malt package store license to be used at 976 Liberty St. and all-alcohol, entertainment and food licenses for the Braintree Brew House at 703 Granite St.

2. The first children's activity for today's continued "" celebration at is Ocean Games for kids ages 5 and up at 11 a.m. in the Logan Auditorium. Pin the Tale on the Whale and more fun!

3. The second is a dolphin-drawing activity, also for ages 5 and up, at 2 p.m.

4. The library is also hosting Babysitter Red Cross Training again today, but space is limited so make sure to call ahead at 781-848-0405 ext. 4415. It's the third year for the program, which certifies ages 12 to 18 in child and infant CPR.

"All 3 days must be attended (Monday 8/22, Tuesday 8/23 and Thursday 8/24), for a total of 10 hours of class time. If you cannot attend all three sessions, you will not be eligible for certification. This program is limited to 12 participants, and registration is required. This certification is normally $90.00 per person, but provided for you free of charge through the sponsorship of the library."
