Engagement, Wedding Rings Stolen in Braintree Home Break-In This Week

A Middle Street home in Braintree was broken into last Sunday and numerous items of jewelry were taken.
The homeowner told police that someone broke in between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Aug. 12, Deputy Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.
"Entry was gained through a rear basement window and cash and jewelry, including a platinum engagement ring, platinum wedding band and two silver necklaces were taken," Jenkins said.
