Braintree's 2012 Budget By Department
The Town Council approved the overall $96 million budget on May 31.
Last week at Town Hall, Braintree held its annual Town Meeting to hear from the public on the 2012 budget. Mayor Joseph Sullivan presented a document, which the Town Council approved, that includes increases for public safety, public works and other departments, including $2 million more for the schools. Below is a breakdown by department of the budget, showing 2011 and the year starting July 1.
