Braintree police are investigating an unarmed robbery in the Landing, looking for a suspect who fled Friday night toward Quincy with money he stole from Eastern Bank.
A bank teller told police that a white male brandished a note demanding money, Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement. The suspect, who did not show a weapon, took an unnamed amount of money and fled down Quincy Avenue.
The man was described as 5 feet 6 inches tall to 5 feet 7 inches tall, clean shaven with a slender build. He was in his early 30s, wore a dark knit hat with a white ring around it and a dark colored jacket, Jenkins said.
He fled on foot from the bank at 51 Commercial St.
