KING, Thomas P., of Braintree, formerly of Newton, passed away suddenly on March 9, 2013 at the age of 58. Born in Boston, Thomas grew up in Newton and graduated from Our Lady’s High School in Newton. He then went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in English from Boston College. For the past 35 years, Tom has worked as a Cardiovascular Technologist at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton. A proud Eagle Scout, Thomas had many passions in life including music, skiing, sports and the N.E. Patriots, however, spending time with family and friends is what brought him the most joy.

DEGNI, Rose,(Pettine) of Abington, formerly of Braintree, March 10, 2013 at the age of 91. Loving mother of Peter M. Degni and his wife Carol, Vito P. Degni and his wife Sandra and Phyllis J. Rubini and her husband John. ... Rose was born in Brooklyn New York and was a Stitcher for the Garment Industry and member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. During WWII she worked as a Welder at Gillette.

DOROTHY L. RILOFF passed away very peacefully on March 11, 2013, at South Shore Hospital, Weymouth, MA.
Dot was born January 22, 1927, and raised in Quincy, MA by her parents Dorothy and Seraphene Marini. After high school Dot’s education was extended at Katherine Gibbs College, Business Division, with courses in advanced secretarial skills. ....
The Riloffs were among the first residents of Royal Lake Condominium Village, which is located on Sunset Lake in Braintree. From her many-windowed view she could fulfill her ambitions to write, and her great interest in bird and animal life. Dot was referred to as the “Lady of the Lake” for the many articles, well-researched and written with interesting approaches, which were published in the Braintree Forum newspaper.
