Dumping more snow in Braintree than the town has experienced in years, the Blizzard of 2013 clogged roadways, shut off power and made for some temporarily beautiful landscapes, at least until the freezing rain hit Monday.

Check out some photos and video of the clean up effort Monday in Braintree and add your own by clicking on the contribute button.

Coming out of the T station at Ivory Street, the snow is blocking view of oncoming traffic and the lights are not functional. Very dangerous.

Marjorie, The lights were not functioning there yesterday as well. One would think there would be a cop directing traffic at such a busy intersection at rush hour. Coming out of the T last night at 5:30 was a horror show!

I wonder who is responsible for the Union Street ramp to Rte 3 North. It's plowed...sort of. When you get to the top of the ramp, looking to see if you can merge on to Rte 3 then swerve left to avoid a snow bank blocking the top of the ramp. Essentially, there is no merge, you're getting on the highway in the lane.

Lucy, pretty sure the rotary and the on ramps are technically state controlled, I know what you mean though, I went up that ramp on Sunday, you need to think/move quick!!!

Why dont you all call town hall or the police when you see something like this? Im sure the town would do something but they need citizens to act, not just write on braintree patch.

Beth, just because you are seeing these comments here, it is a little presumptuous of you to think that myself, or any other person here has not taken other action
