Boy Scouts from Troop 19, based at Sacred Heart Parish, sat in on the Braintree School Committee meeting on Monday night at the Colbert School on Pond Street as part of an effort to earn a civic merit badge. They also volunteered at the Braintree Food Pantry, met town officials and will write speeches based on their experience.
